Since closing my first mortgage in 1979, I have seen the mortgage industry have it's ups and downs. As a result of beginning my career as a banker and it's customer oriented training, my goal as a professional has always been to serve my clients with clarity and credibility. Today's mortgage industry has challenged consumers trust and rightfully so!
I have worked as a mortgage broker for several different companies however after meeting with Mark and his team, his leadership and values were synonymous with mine and I found my professional "home". Our team works from a solid foundation of trust and integrity. We want our clients to have the best experience and be "house rich" as opposed to so many people being the exact opposite.
In this business it is very important to be well-informed of changes, both from lenders and from the government. I regularly attend continuing education classes, and I have taught residential mortgage lending classes for the American Banker's Association. I am a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Mortgage Brokers and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and regularly attend meetings and conferences offered by these organizations. I also participate in events sponsored by the Mortgage Banker's Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
In my personal time I garden, play with my pets, listen to jazz, draw, and take lots of classes at Phipps Conservatory and at Carnegie Museum. I also serve as a docent at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.
